This is a very small Indidan restaurant and to be honest I was reluctant to go in as it was Saturday evening and it was empty, and I mean totally empty. I have always tended to avoid empty restaurants as it is easy to surmise that emply means bad and it is just slightly uncomfortable sitting in an empty restaurant. However, there was no need to worry as the food was great, serivce good and prices reasonable. It is slighlty off main area in Erlangen but still it is well worth the diversion. However, it is not really a place for kids and you have to make your own atmosphere. But I suspect this restaurant will fill up as time goes on and word of mouth spreads.
I can only recommend the food here. If you want to eat authentic dishes and add value to great service, then you are gold right here. It's just great that you can determine the level of sharpness as you like. This is something for everyone! That all dishes are homemade with high-quality ingredients, you just taste out. As a passionate foodie, I can only put the Bombay House on your heart.

This place is small and they do not take credit or debit cards. Nonetheless, it is worth a visit. I was there on Monday and soon after I arrived, all the tables were taken and they had to turn away a couple of guests. Their Chicken Tikka Masala was perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. The Naan bread was similarly perfectly baked.

Fairly good Indian food. Restaurant was crowded and stuffy. However, it wasn't too crowded or noisy. The food was pricy though for the amount given.
As an Indian I can only recommend the Bombay House. All dishes are super delicious and authentic! 5 stars more. Look forward to the next visit!
This is my most favorite Indian restaurant in Erlangen. I'm always looking forward to visit & relax & enjoy the food here.
