When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find a basket of complimentary papadum waiting for us at the table—perhaps because we were the first diners of the evening? The menu was extensive, featuring some unique dishes I hadn’t seen before at an Indian restaurant, including a curry bowl made with very fresh ingredients that was absolutely delicious! Our server was quite new—just two days on the job—so she seemed a bit nervous, but she was very attentive and eager to help. We all have to start somewhere! The restaurant had a lovely ambiance, with soft lighting, rotating colored lights, and South Asian ballads playing at just the right volume to be enjoyable without being overwhelming...

I don't know what to say in my review since we never received our food. We had a reservation for four and ordered four dishes, but after waiting over an hour, nothing arrived. When we inquired about our meals, the waiter rudely told us not to ask. What else are we supposed to do when our food is overdue by more than an hour? The service was terrible, the staff was arrogant, and the lighting and ambiance were lacking. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would have given zero stars if that were possible. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

During our visit to Vancouver, we had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant for lunch. Our family ordered Chole Bhatura, a Paneer wrap alongside delicious Indian-seasoned fries, and a tofu palak roti plate. The Chole Bhatura was, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever tasted! Each dish was prepared with care, using quality ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The cozy ambiance truly added to our experience. It’s a must-visit destination when in Vancouver!
