on Saturday we will quickly become our favorite days after a long live in a lazy brunch and a walk into the city, we tend to work an appetit for delicious cocktails. on Saturday we did exactly that and found ourselves in bon vivant slip cocktails and roasted on small delicious foods. it felt strange to leave the sunny streets and enter the darkness of bon vivant, but once in us we were immediately relaxed and ready for the summer cocktails. we chose a mixture of gin and around with fruity grooms that brought the sunshine to the table. we will be back for more cocktails and another round of small bites, especially the Haggis...read more
The Bon Vivant Stockbridge. Went to the newly opened Bon Vivant in Stockbridge last week and was very impressed. I love the menu where you can choose different sizes of portion, especially the amazingly well priced bites for The food was excellent, really flavourful and fresh. They have lots of wines and champagnes by the glass also, so I had a Romania Pinot Noir which was delicate but earthy, an excellent match for the lamb kofta. The atmosphere was that of a chilled wine bar and it had a really good mix of people. I will certainly be going back for mid-week suppers and special occasions.
The Bon Vivant is forging a great name for itself, largely due to the excellent selection of Champagnes they're offering, and all available by the glass. No playing around with Prosecco, or cavorting with Cava. The BV is all about the Champers, and you wi
love the idea of many mini bites so that they all choose their food and mix. the haggis bon bon game is strong. chorizo is great with brot and the baked goods are on place. they love this place for a wee change from the norm of the burger or sandwiches.
