We stayed in an apartment across the river and visited this restaurant twice. Both times we had crepes and drinks, and they were very good. One evening we also ordered the large charcuterie and cheese platter - it was far too much food for the two adults in our group. The ice cream is also good, as our children would attest. A bit of French is nice, although there are menus in English available as well. On very nice evenings the staff seems to bring out more and more tables and chairs so that there's room for everyone!

My family and I travelled to Dinan and thoroughly enjoyed the town and walks. The river walk to Lehon is particularly easy and ends up at the Abbey. On returning to Lanvallay we eat some savoury and sweet crepes at the Board de Rance which were delicious. Xavier and Emily are the perfect hosts and also rent out bicycles. This is a great place to eat early. Later the area quietens down.

Just had a really enjoyable meal at Bords de Rance and I've come straight on here to rant about it. If that hasn't convinced you, read on...The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly, with a great sense of humour. The menu selection is also great. (Being a vegetarian in France can be difficult at times)! Their Coat-Albert cidre is absolutely worth a try too ;)

On the other side of the river from Dinan I stopped at at this bar and had a Breton galette out in the sun with a beer. It was a square savoury buckwheat crepe with ham and cheese and folded over into a square. It was delicious. Highly recommend this place for service with a smile and good food. Book a table now

Perfectly situated on the quayside opposite the busier side of the port, this friendly café gives you a lovely view in the evening as well as serving some excellent Breton beers from the Lancelot range. Heartily recommended

We, a mature couple, stopped for lunch at this pleasant creperie at the Port de Dinan. It was a very warm day and we both had a ham
