This restaurant used to be the top choice for seafood, but our recent experience was disappointing. We usually order the grilled seafood platter, but this time it had an unbearable ammonia smell and tasted bad. When we informed the manager, he insisted that everything was fresh and fine. Despite offering us a replacement, we had lost our appetites by then. To our disappointment, the manager did not remove the dish from our bill, even though we couldn't eat it. This will be the last time we dine at this restaurant. On a positive note, their salad is fresh and tasty, but the Greek dressing is very oily, so it's best to ask for it on the side.
Oh my goodness! If you love seafood, this is the perfect place for you. The seafood is always fresh and the portions are generous. The same amount of food would cost two to three times as much in the city. I've been coming here for years and I still can't get enough of this place. This place not only serves as a restaurant but also as a fish market, so you can buy fresh seafood to take home and prepare yourself. The service is excellent and you can bring your own bottle with a $15 corkage fee. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's top-notch!

I enjoy the tuna and salmon sandwiches at this restaurant, but they are only available at the Des Plaines location, which is a 20-minute drive for me. The menu at the Wheeling location, which is only 3 minutes away, does not offer these sandwiches for pickup, unfortunately.

Amazing food and great service! We went as a table of 7 adults and shared the fisherman's platter, cioppino, and sea bass. There was so much food, plenty for leftovers. The sea bass was the star of the show!
The shrimp had a strong fishy taste. This is the second time this has happened to me! It was unexpected because their food is usually delicious!
