Jacqueline R.'s review was spot on, and it's true that there aren't many reviews about the extensive lunch buffet. This Boston Market has been around for eight years, and I've enjoyed the lunch buffet three times in recent weeks. The food is always delicious, and if you ask, they'll bring you a basket with naan bread. Manu provided prompt and friendly service. They also validate parking in the garage behind the restaurant, which you can access from Ventura Boulevard or Libbet Street.
really good chicken pot pie. staff communication was somewhat poor when I went mid Sept. came in to get 2 pot pies, they only had 1 on the tray. we asked the cashier/order taker if there were more coming and she asked the cook ? , who said 'no, that 's it ' so we ordered a turkey dinner instead. while cashier/order taker was putting together turkey dinner, more pot pies appeared on the warming tray. I don 't know how the cook misunderstood a simple question like that.
I arrived at the restaurant around 8:40 PM. Upon entering, I overheard the cook excitedly mentioning they had a customer. However, when I attempted to place my order, I was disappointed to learn they were out of chicken and ribs, leaving only meatloaf and a few limited side options. It was frustrating to find that this restaurant, which advertised being open until 10 PM, couldn't provide a variety of food just an hour before closing.
This restaurant has really declined over the years. The establishment itself felt dingy, and the dining area seemed as if it were still in a lockdown. It was quite disappointing. The food was decent but not exceptional. On the plus side, the portion sizes were quite generous. Book a table now
Jack was a charismatic and witty person who single-handedly handled the bustling lunch rush. He truly merits a raise! Even working alone, he delivered outstanding service to both dine-in and takeout customers. Thank you, Jack—the food was excellent.
I ordered the half chicken meal with spinach and red potatoes, and while the red potatoes were nearly raw, everything else was fine. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone; you will love the food. Enjoy!
I placed an online order for ribs to pick up, and it was ready when I arrived. The portion was generous, and you get to choose two sides along with cornbread. Very delicious.
