I went here a couple weeks ago for lunch and I can’t stop thinking about my experience. I ordered the “Southie Reuben” and I think it was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The waitress was super nice and efficient, and another man walked over to our table to inquire about our meals! I’m counting the minutes until I go back to order the exact same thing! Keep up the good work Boston Tavern…it’s nice to count on a local restaurant for such an impressive visit!
My friend and I had lunch at Boston Tavern on Saturday and we both really enjoyed it. Joanna was our server and she was awesome. 5 stars for her. I had the Reuben. There was a lot of meat on it and the bread was excellent. My only complaint was that it was a bit dry. Adding more sauerkraut helped. My friend had a sandwich as well and she really liked it. We both had a yummy cocktail. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. I'll definitely be back.
Our waitress was very nice and on our wishes. I was not impressed by the attitude of the person who brought the food as she did not seem to understand that my fiancée did not claim a court because it was wrong. Besides, a very nice experience and I would like to go back.
Fun atmosphere, really great food and awesome portions. Staff friendly and quick service even when busy.
