Beautiful restaurant in the textile museum with textile factory ambience. In terms of food and service, it has made very different experiences, so it seems to be the daily form of the staff. Suitable for family celebrations if you are aware that the outdoor area is managed despite celebration that is naturally understandable. The complete incompetence of some employees is not understandable.
My friend and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago. Though they had a big wedding going on, they accommodated us with a table for two in the Maschinenhalle, in between all the antique machines. The location was spectatular, the food was great and we can definitely recommend das Schiffchen for events big and small. A big shout out to the waitress who was a bliss to deal with.
On Friday the boat visited the 21.05.20 and only used the beer garden and ate there. The service was friendly and fast. The food was highly recommended and also very well prepared. Unfortunately, it was not taken so seriously during preparation with the cleaning of the beer garden, because it can also be cleaner in a beer garden.
Fantastic location by the river. A converted factory building with enormous amount of character, tasteful decor. Service outstanding. Menu choices top class. Best meal in Germany at a restaurant, and I have had a lotover the years. Not to be missed! We will return for sure. Congratulations to the chef. Book a table now
Good bourgeois cuisine, with dishes you don't get anywhere. To this end, an inviting terasse/beer garden and an interior design, characterized by the industrial museum from the time. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. We like to come back.
A close 4. Service is good, ambience relaxed. The food is beautifully dressed and comes quickly. Prices are fine. But unfortunately the cook has a preference for finished sauces.
