Amazing dinner but skip the dessert. The trio of sea scallops and the forest mushroom ragout were a fantastic start to dinner. If we could, we would have chosen the carpaccio scallop for a main course as it was light and buttery. The main courses our party had were all delectable, well presented, and paired nicely with our waiter’s wine recommendations. The only drawback was that the cream puffs we ordered for dessert were rather stale and not worth finishing.

There are many really very good restaurants in Santa Barbara. This is the best by far including comparisons to several super expensive ones. They just do everything right, the right balance of both classic and inventive touches in every dish, proper service but not at all stuffy, superb wine list including a good selection at approachable price points, comfortable and welcoming ambiance. Food quality if I could give it 6 stars I would do that.

Excellent food and wine!! Great service! We sat outside and it was a fun environment! The owner is on site at all times keeping close eye on the service and customer satisfaction. Note: if you don’t like Raw Scallops, don’t order it as an appetizer. It comes with 3 big scallops and one of them is raw. My favorites: the french onion soup and the cheese tart!!

Seated outdoors in tented area. Had the misfortune of being to a Utility crew servicing something under the street (open manhole cover). Trashed the ambiance for V Day. Food was very good...but, sadly, not great. Wagyu steak not as tender as it should be. Book a table now

Intimate, Exceptional and a wonderful pre Valentine dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, fun and welcoming. Definitely a must go while in Santa Barbara.

Such a wonderful night. The vibe, food, and service (Nicholas) were so nice. Can't forget the music. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole...smooth!
