We went here 3 times actually and were initially charmed by this nice little Boulangerie. However, we booked a table for an evening meal and half way through the meal the waitress/owner came out furiously shouting at us, claiming that we had lied about our name to get a better table and now she couldn 't seat her other booking. The reality is that we booked a table, arrived and she assumed we were another family even though we corrected her at the time (but she either didn 't hear or wasn 't listening). Bizarrely our booking was 1 hour and a half before the other family so I have no idea how this woman got this mixed up or what she thought we were trying to pull. Never in my life have I been...

Four years ago, on a superb wine tour with Mistral Tours, we stopped for lunch under the trees in Faucon. We thought the tarts were about the best we 'd ever had. Move on four years, allowed to travel again, back on another great wine tour with Valentina, and we said 'let 's go back to Boulangerie sous Tilleuls '. It did not disappoint. The tarts (tomato and olive, onion and anchovies, quiche Lorraine, zucchini and lardon, and more) were again gorgeous. Since then we 've tried a couple of very pale imitations which only underscored our original impression. If...

Here are the facts: we reserved, arrived on time and were told to choose between two tables. So we chose one and sat down and waited. And waited. We watched other people arrive and sit down at three other tables. These fortunate customers were shown the menu board, got served drinks and then had their orders taken. In the meantime we sat and waited, totally ignored by the waitress. We tried to attract her attention, to no avail. In the end we called out to her and she snapped that she was busy. I went up to her and explained that we had arrived before the other tables and she screamed at me that she was a person and how dare we call out to her...??? Naturally at that point we left. Turns out...

I have been going to this bakery for years and even if they are not always friendly, their bread is usually good (except when they sell the dry bread baked the day before, which happened to me). What happened to me today is surreal, I ask for a baguette and the saleswoman answers me that there are none left, so I ask for explanations on the other breads and then the boss comes and tells me « arrêtez de nous emmerder, tous les pains sont les mêmes (stop bothering us, all the breads are the same) » and he left. At the same time, a waitress walks past me and tells me that she has priority while I was busy with the saleswoman (they are doing a little restoration on the terrace in front of the ba...
