this is a stop place on one of our regular morning walks. soon we will be able to sit in a targeted sitting area and enjoy the excellent (and generous) portions of eating and drinking, served by the always cheerful people who work in this caffe. the place is oriented on migrating and dog walkers, as far as there are any sausages left from the day before, they are packed in foil and left on the counter for dog owners to give their pet while enjoying an excellent meal itself.
I just want to echo what everyone else is saying: this is a fantastic place! It's wonderful to take our dogs for a walk in a lovely green space with the beautiful backdrop of The Ercall. Afterward, we enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a sausage sandwich (my wife opted for the vegetarian version, and she was also impressed), made with quality bread. We've just moved to the area and plan to make this a regular outing from Madeley—it's a highlight of our week! Excellent!
Like many popular small eateries, this restaurant tends to attract quite a crowd, often resulting in a wait for a table. Changes to the roadway for traffic management have pushed customers to the side, leading to a loss of some of its seating and charm. It seems that implementing traffic relief measures could have been a better solution than removing tables from the outdoor area.
the food was delicious and although there was quite a long wait time, we were advised how we ordered. the staff were friendly and worked very hard to take care of all their customers. very enjoyed as always. Book a table now
Lovely breakfast and the coffee is great. The bacon was very salty though. Perhaps just a one off. Really nice setting in the Bowring Park
Fantastic cafe and a real asset to Boring Park. Great food and an affordable menu. I had the halloumi burger it was fabulous.
