We ate at Boyd's New Generation on S. Grand today. It was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, the crew was working hard, and on top of everything. I got fried chicken with THREE sides and a dessert. 2 pieces of white meat, mac-n-cheese, greens, spaghetti, and a piece of cake for 11.99! Zach got country fried steak, yams, fries, and mac-n-cheese, and cake. The portions are huge and it literally tasted like it came out of my Grandma's kitchen. Highly recommend. 10/10 people! I'll be back, probably tomorrow. ?
The food was/is always hot and delicious ?I usually get the veggie plate of mac n cheese, sweet potatoes and either greens or cabbage and cornbread. I’ve also had the baked chicken and smothered pork chops and they’re both juicy and delicious. The staff is always pleasant and since I always drive thru, I am happy to say I have never had to wait long for my food. The food is definitely worth the price I only wish they were open on Sunday ?
I drop by to pick up breakfast a couple off times a week and it's incredible. Great food, service with a smile, amazing price for what you get.I've stopped by for lunch once, as well, and I definitely look forward to getting the opportunity again!

Always a pleasure to go to Boyd's. Springfield is a six hour drive from where I live. I still go to Boyd's several times a year. The best comfort food and peach cobbler. Enjoy!Food: 5/5
I have been looking for fish and spaghetti for awhile in the Springfield area. I am extremely impressed. Great customer service and great food. I will definitely be going back.
