Stopover for lunch on way to Kitzbuhel from Munich. Massive place and beer and food hall. We had a reservation so got a booth in the back all to ourselves. Great choice of local food and beer! Big pretzels too. Service was good. They have...a big outdoor place which was popular even in Feb due to the sun shining directly there. Definitely recommend if in the area. Can imagine it is very popular in the summer Visit the church next door. Interesting paintings on the ceiling
This is what a Bavarian restaurant should be like: a pork based menu, free flowing beer and (very) fair prices. Both times we came here, in the week we stayed on the lake, I had the pork knuckle which was perfectly cooked with a good...layer of crackling. Prices are also more than reasonable: two people can have a main course and a beer for about 30 Euros.
Seated outside in beer hall type place for lunch. The place was absolutely ram packed. Service was surprisingly good once waiter’s attention was achieved. Beer was really good unsurprisingly(! Lunch special of stuffed peppers arrive quickly plentiful and filling was ok but by...no means, gourmet.
Big German beer haus with lots of food options and beer. It was crowded inside but not hard to find a table. In classic beer house still you can share tables. The cheese selection plate was very good, other food was average but not bad.
