This bistro is simply the best - cozy, impeccably clean, and warmly welcoming. Claire and Adam are a fantastic duo, providing a genuine and welcoming atmosphere. They pay close attention to detail and the food is outstanding! The cuisine is exquisite and we couldn't resist ordering three courses - each dish was excellent. The cheese souffle was a dream and the duck was the best my husband has ever had. It was a perfect evening from start to finish, and we didn't want it to end. Thank you, Claire and Adam - we will definitely be returning.
What a lovely restaurant. The owner and waitress were so welcoming and friendly. We’d found this by accident and following reviews decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Our meal was excellent for start to finish. All aspects cooked to perfection and piping hot which is something I appreciate. Huge compliments to the chef Varied menu so something for every taste. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service and environment If we are ever back in the area we will definitely come again.
This charming restaurant exceeded our expectations. We are thankful for the reviews we read on TripAdvisor. The meal was delightful and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The food was all delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised with fudge and brandy snaps with our coffee. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Yorkshire.
An excellent bistro, service and food superb. It was my wife's birthday, a simple touch of a card and decorations on the table enhanced our very enjoyable evening. If we lived closer we would definitely be eating there on o regular basis. Front of house and staff very professional! Thank you for wonderful meal and birthday celebration.

Simply stunning food. We visited while staying in Thornton le Dale on holiday and we were very lucky to get a table. All the food we had was beautifully cooked and presented. There’s a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant which must be a source of pride for its owners. A very rare gem, go there if you’re in the area!
Excellent restaurant in the beautiful village of Thornton-le-Dale. Staff very attentive and food outstanding. Our table looked out on to a beautiful garden. No wonder this little gem is booked for weeks ahead. We'll definitely be returning.
During our stay in Thornton this week, four of us had the pleasure of dining at Brandysnap Bistro. We all enjoyed the wonderful food and drinks, and Adam, our fantastic host, comes highly recommended.
