We've just received a call from Brasa restaurant regarding my husband's search for my cell phone as we were leaving. Thankfully, we found it underneath my sister's car in their parking lot; it had slipped out of my hoodie pocket. What impressed us the most was that Brasa not only remembered our situation, but they also took the initiative to call and inform us that they had found a phone. They assisted us throughout the process of tracking it down, and I sincerely hope they can find the owner of the other phone they discovered. This is what exceptional customer service looks like! I have dined in and ordered on door dash and this place never disappoints me!! In a time where it’s hard to find genuinely good customer service the staff at this location are so helpful and so nice!! They do have different ordering protocol but explain everything in a nice and friendly manner!! You can order on your phone or at the counter. I always order at the counter…cause I be hungry!! Also their fried fish is very superior!! I’m so glad this place exists! I always feel welcomed by them and never had a bad experience while I dined in. Amazing food and spectacular out of this world heart warming staff! Keep up the amazing work and your staff should be very proud of themselves.
Four and a half stars! The food here is excellent, and they offer a diverse range of cuisines that you don't often find in the Twin Cities area. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes available. The staff is friendly, and it's refreshing to see that they are compensated with a living wage. However, during my recent visit, there was a bit of confusion as they are in the process of implementing a new ordering system. This did slightly detract from my experience, but overall, I would recommend this restaurant—it's definitely worth a visit!
I really enjoyed the fried catfish and plantains with a great coleslaw on the side. They have several different options from plates to bowls and sandwiches too. Other foods included like grits,collard greens, dry rub chicken and rice w/ peas. There is No tipping as they've already incorporated it into the cost of the meal. This is to support higher wages for employees with benefits including health care and 401k options. Clean simple design to restaurant with open air feeling and plenty of seating. Definitely a place I'll return to. They also serve beer and wine.

My husband, three young kids, and I ate at Brasa on Saturday, and it was fantastic. The vibe and atmosphere were wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the food was incredibly flavorful. The rotisserie chicken, yellow rice and beans, and salad were delicious. I appreciated that the cornbread wasn't overly sweet, and the plantains were outstanding. The highlight of the meal was the coconut tapioca pudding—it was absolutely amazing!
Been a long time since I’ve been back and it was a good as I remembered before except the chicken was a bit on the drier side. I would suggest the family feast with the roast pork instead of the whole chicken. If you have room you should do the fried plantains, half order has 10 pieces. They have a very small parking lot and doesn’t accept reservations so make sure you go before the rush! They’re also a no tipping policy.
Great food, mostly gluten free, and no tipping. Brasa is affordable despite a no tipping policy...thanks for the transparency! It's a refreshing change from the US standard. Most of the menu is gluten free, and the quality is great. Parking is challenging (we normally stick to the suburbs) but we were able to get a spot in the lot.
Oh my goodness this food was delicious. Oh how it reminded me of Dominican and Puerto Rican food that I have missed so much. Saint Paul you have added some Creole and Afro-Latin food to your city and it's a hit. Go get the Pernil (roasted Pork) and a Malbec wine and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
