Wow. I don't know where to start with this amazing Brasserie. We arrived late afternoon and saw that it was already busy. Unfazed, the staff managed to pull together a table for 4 people outside even though we couldn't see one! We were seated and gave our 11 year old son the chance to order in French. The waiting staff were amazing, encouraging and helpful. Our total order was placed by our son, with some gentle guidance from the waiters. Our food was delicious, hot, fresh, and a pure delight. Drinks were served quickly and were amazing especially the Champagne! We were under no pressure to dine quickly, indeed we spent around 3 hours watching the world go by, and topping up our glasses. We come here quite often after the Sunday open market and we live close by. The beef is excellent and so tender that it practically melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the hand chopped steak tartare which I have often. My last visit was with my daughter and sister and since we had a baby with us in a stroller we asked for a place incognito . The staff was more than willing to go out of their way, professional and very hospitable. The wine list is limited yet very well chosen and affordable. Everything at the Brasserie is fresh and of excellent quality.
The place itself is nice and authentic. Their food is truly very good. Honestly, they serve the best Croque Madame/Monsieur in Ile de France!!! It's simply unfortunate that their service is so bad...there might be 1 good waiter in total. They impose a table and make faces if you want to change and when it's time to get a bill, they're nowhere to be found...I recommend it for the food and if you don't mind the attitude...:
Brasserie 1901 is located in Centre-Ville Noisy-le-Grand, right next to the Marché de Centre-Ville and the Town Hall, Mairie de Noisy-le-Grand. The food at the café is decent, and its interiors are well done, has a old world charm to it. However, the service is terrible. The staff doesn't care and are rather rude.
