Nach ungefähr 600km Fahrt und einer gewissen Auskühlung erschien die äußere Gestaltung der Brasserie durchaus einladender, als die zur Mittagszeit ungefähr vier offenen Stände des Mini-Weihnachtsmarktes am Postplatz. Außerdem war ein Toilettengang angesagt, der in der Brasserie für Nichtkonsumenten 1€ pro Person kostet. Wären gut angelegte 2€ gewesen. Tagesgericht? Leber? Nein. Aß eine Rentnerin, die es mit Rollator nach dem Essen, dank unserer Hilfe, unfallfrei über die Stufe aus dem Lokal schaffte. Dier einzig anwesende "Mann für alles" konnte nicht überall sein. Sauerbraten mit Klößen und Rotkohl. Erinnerte a priori an die Sendungen von Frank Rosin, erstes Testessen. Freundlich ausgedrück...
this is the kind of place that East German service gives a bad name because it has generally improved enormously. not here. beautiful location, but the staff is awfully rude. the waitress was upset that we were there and she had to do something... Work them to bring a menu, take one command. very unfriendly for the point of hostility. I never understand why people like this work in hospitality. the coffees were average. I didn't tip because of the terrible service and she took the money and stalked. no, thank you, not looking back, nothing. and all this considering that we are a family with a baby, not even that she has looked up!
Cannot say much. It was a cold day. We were hungry. Walked in. The owner was very welcoming. Sadly the place was empty. The menu is short, based on pork. We ate, paid, thanked and left. Why it is called a brasserie I'll never know. Nice people but it seems they don't quite have a specified idea what they want to be.

Man sitzt sehr schön in der Brasserie und hat einen guten Blick auf den Postplatz, das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Speisen haben eine ausgezeichnete Qualität und sind frisch zubereitet.
Gutes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Ich habe Bauernfrühstück gegessen und mein Mann Schnitzel. Gutes Bier und Berliner Kindl mit Schuss. Mein Favorit Waldmeister.
Sehr gute Küche, schmeckt sehr gut! Mein Lieblings-Whisky aus Canada ist wieder da
