On our 1st night in town we visited the restaurant next door as it looked much more salubrious. Big mistake! After drinking in the bar and being made VERY welcome by the staff we decided we'd try dinner there on our last night. Although I have a bigger kitchen at home this place still turns out great tasting food. Try the moreau fish, it was delicious but only if you REALLY like garlic!

Not much to look at looks quite basic. Had a short menu with simple food that tasted delicious. We had merlu (cod) and cassoulet de la mer (mix of seafood) with a glass of rose each. Service pleasant. Very close to a quiet, supervised beach and was a great stop halfway through our day exploring the island on bicycles.

the frame is a bit old and would need a refreshment. That said the welcome is friendly and the efficient and listening server. The menu is not very complicated but has typical and tasteful dishes. The dessert card does not surprise but these are correct. In total perfect for a chichi-free meal on the seaside.
