Brasserie Bleue - Table reservation

Sunday of our recent visit to aldeburgh was the Mother's Day and we welcomed the opportunity to taste the afternoon tea in the white lion hotel in adleburgh. the conditoir chef at the white lion is anmar odendal, an award-winning wedding cake designer. by her business crumb, she was recognized in 2013 by the high-time industry as the best wedding cake designer in the eastern englands. Our afternoon tea was florally inspired and included a selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries with a selection of tea, a glass champagne and a little pot flowers for mama, all at an incredible price of £20. it was overexamination good value and hard to think that we could get so much for so little....

Hotel prices but below average food and average service. Long waits even though half empty restaurant, TINY fish starter presented without lemon, no offer of bread or rolls, dry slice of bread with a soup, tiny open tart SMOTHERED in balsamic glaze so that was all I could taste! Frozen supermarket style chips!

I made a reservation for a dining and stay package at this hotel. The location is ideal and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The staff is attentive and the breakfast and dinner at the Brasserie were excellent. The hotel is dog-friendly and they also have a happy hour, making it the perfect place to stay.

We have visited this hotel multiple times, but our most recent experience was the most enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located, and it is clear that a good amount of money has been invested in it.

Fantastic food. Wonderful staff. If you are local or visiting, you should try this restaurant. I am originally local but now live away. On a three day trip back, we went twice. Do try.
