I'd heard this restaurant was worth a try and decided to have lunch there on our second last day. The formula has some very interesting dishes and we were going to try that but then my eye was caught by a "Burger Gourmand" - duck confit burger with a slice of foie gras!! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous (the only thing I'd change is maybe to have a sexier bread to elevate the dish, rather than a burger bun, but that's a personal preference). We shared a huge salad (Exotique - with smoked salmon, prawns and avodcado etc) for a starter which was perfect.Service was friendly and courteous and we had a really relaxed meal on the terrace. We look forward to returning.
We took the 19.90 and the 25.90 euro fixed menus for lunch. Both good value, with the attraction of the 25.90 menu being the traditional Catalan dish of cod and bream over potatoes. All excellent. The modules marinade and salad made good starters. The chicken and fish wonderful mains. All accompanied by 8 euro carafes of rose wine and finished off with a variety of ice creams. Add to that a very pleasant view of the harbour and decent service and you have a wonderful lunch.
Serving French food using top quality ingredients at a very reasonable price. Didiers set price menus offer a great variety of dishes. The fois gras was sublime. The burgers are top notch. Moules are plentiful and delicious. Home made icecream heavenly. We had a really wonderful celebration meal sat on the Quay in the sunshine. Practically perfect. We shall return.
We visited this nice restaurant at the port yesterday. We ordered the 3 course menu for 19 euros and 24 euros and a very nice white from the area. Good value for money. Somewhat long time waiting for the food but worth it.
