"Good beer used to be hard to find in France but thie little brewpub has 4 nice beers. The food was excellent also. Service was slow even by European standards; waitress was surprised that we wanted second glasses of beer."

We did reserve, restaurant was quite empty, we were told to sit anywhere and then promptly got moved to a less convenient table. We waited a long time for drinks and then got the wrong order. The restaurant seemed tragically understaffed. Meal was well below average: bread was slightly stale, the verrine de pate resembled the rosetta comet, a hard, so-so flavoured meatball. The jarret de porc taste pre-fabricated and the sauce seemed identical to that of my friend's maigret de canard. Service was so slow that we had to leave before the puddings arrived. When we requested the bill, it did not arrive either, so we left some cash on the table and left. Our meal did not seem any better to us tha...

I can see how maybe the service could fall behind if the restaurant was full, which might explain the previous bad commentaries. However, on our Friday night the restaurant was just over half full. We were greeted and seated straight away, and didn't have to wait long for drinks and the menus. The fixed menu is often a good mix and always good value, though it can be mixed and matched from the full menu a bit if you don't like something. We visited this very attractive restaurant with some friends for Sunday lunch. It is extremely well appointed and is located within a smart complex of a micro brewery, artisan bakery and other foodie attractions. The staff were friendly but respectful and very attentive. The food, mainly with a beer related theme was nothing short of excellent, plentiful and very reasonably priced. Our friends, who often dine in UK Michelin starred restaurants thought it was excellent too! There were a few families dining with children in the restaurant and because of the layout nothing spoiled our experience. We will make a point of visiting again.

Delicious food, expertly prepared. Staff were wonderful. My son had an allergy and they gave helpful advise even though a language barrier. Very understanding, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend, definitely visit next time in the area.
