Brasserie de Savoie

A brasserie is like a café-restaurant with more choices than a café and usually cheap and excellent French meals.If you go shopping in Sallanches (it is actually nice shopping in the pedestrian streets), the shops actually close at lunch time and it is a good time to head for a nice meal seating outside on the plaza while looking at typical French life going past.Small village ambiance but excellent food and very nice greeting. we had some local specialties and the food was tasty. not haute cuisine, but pleasant and service was quite fast . a pleasant surprise after 2 other restaurants at 145 pm had thrown us out .

super happy with the restaurant, and the waitress who's at the top! The fondue was a delight. so much that we even met a celebrity that was in the family sitting at us.

Good was over an hour late, apparently what we ordered wasn't available, but they forgot to tell us. When the food did arrive, it was tasteless.
