we went to the museum and have by the occasion eaten at the brewery, which also allows access to free parking. positive point: the place is modern and pretty. chocolate dessert (see photos was great. That's what went up the note by the way, I'll advise you with a coffee and the tulle that was beautiful. I took pintade that unlike the lamb was really bad. (Notice with 3 stars, 3 positive point negative: my companion took lamb and despite a mastered cooking, the dish clearly lacked taste. the welcome (to my god, we arrived, 3 people at the reception, I gave my name for the reservation, once, twice, they are two to look at a list, the third, I don't know what it was doing. And now I'm asked for...

Two of us went for dinner on a mid-week evening. We opted for the €55 four course gastronomic menu which on this occasion was all fish and included three 120ml glasses of wine. (a fizzy aperitif and two glasses with the food). The starter was a delicious tartare of skipjack tuna with a gazpacho, followed by citrus marinated young mackerel on a bed of pesto asparagus. The “Mulet noir” was on a bed of peas, and a turmeric sauce. It was surrounded by shell fish and was very competently cooked and tasted delicious. Dessert was strawberries, a wild strawberry sorbet and a tuile. Service would have been better if we had not had to prompt the server to explain which fish was being used in each cour...

Went here twice fore lunch as we liked it so much the first time. Their 22 euro set lunch is excellent and the setting superb. If you visit the museum, you might not even know this existed as its sort of underneath and at the back but it has views of the water pool and there is a quiet professional relaxed atmosphere, white table linen, efficient staff and we had a very good time. Bread is a small detail but lovely, we had a whole fresh baked loaf on the table one day and ficelles the next. Terrine, beautiful beef tartare, excellent cafe gourmand. Well worth seeking out as there’s surprisingly little else within walking distance of the museum.

Went for lunch after a visit to the museum. Staff brought us menus in English when they saw we were struggling in French. I had the duck with poached pear and mushrooms which was delicious. My veggie husband had the only 2 items on the menu he could eat: an asparagus entree and a cheese selection. Sadly no vegetarian mains and the only reason this review isnt 'very good '. Service was faultless. Nice atmosphere, clean and not touristy despite its location.

We visited the Brasserie as we were in the Musee in the same building. The restaurant is very modern and comfortable with views around the Saone-Rhone confluence area. The food is very good and well priced (we had the menu de jour which was very good value). Service was also very good. There was a decent range of wines by the glass which is good if you can't manage a bottle at lunchtime. Well worth a visit to break up a trip to the museum.

I really wouldn't bother going here if I were you. You can get a reasonable but no better than reasonable bit of chicken breast with some vegetables and you pay €20 for it and it's all very formal and not very much fun. Go to the café on the roof and get a baguette and admire the views.

super moment in this brewery that has everything from a gastronomic restaurant, the staff is welcoming and very professional, small flat for the rice cake, otherwise it is the class. the desserts are falling down!! Book a table now
