We had dinner at Brassiere du Monde prior to attending RENT at Broadway Sacramento. Service was very efficient and our waitress was attentive to our questions and needs. The food was superb. The romaine salad was tasty and the dressing was not overpowering. My wife ate the mussels and thought they were very fresh and tasty. I had the pork chops which were cooked perfectly, not dried out. They were enhanced with a sauce that included nectarines, which balanced the flavor very well. The broccolini was very tasty. Just left this place. No wonder it’s-was hating it empty. Service was subpar but the food was even worse. Unseasoned, French onion, soup, hard, breakfast, potatoes, and a runny quiche. Our server Jeremy could see we didn’t like our food because we couldn’t even finish it and immediately ask for the check within seven minutes of receiving our food. He didn’t even inquire why we were unhappy. We just paid and left will never go back. This is the worst Food I’ve ever paid for in my entire life and definitely not worth a $72 that we spent for two. Trash.
I hadn't visited this restaurant in quite some time, but we had a fantastic meal. We started with the gravlax, which was exceptional. My wife ordered the black cod while I enjoyed the mussels. We brought our own bottle of wine, making it even better! The service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place!
What a fun spot. Ari behind the bar was charming and makes great cocktails. The Sazarac was fire! Great food done in the classic French style. We will be back for sure.

The restaurant was quite warm, and the food was average, nothing really stood out. However, the choux pastry with ice cream was the highlight of the meal.
