Hello, two months ago the restaurant is open and the chef doesn't work the weekend: it's the boss who sticks to it. Well, if you're not looking for a gastro, it's for you, we've been enjoying ourselves and the atmosphere is friendly, both the waitresses and the other customers, we've had a good time and the boss has managed well. It took 41 euros for an apero, a dish each (we were in a couple) and a coffee, very good coffee (we are from the North). Good time.
Brasserie le Commerce is a great advantage for the small town of Montmorillon. It is friendly and relaxed and has a wider range of food than many French brasserie. The food is simply with nothing imagination on the menu. But if you are hungry and want a quiet or slow lunch, it is ideal. I sign that it is also open in the evening and keeps music evenings that are well viewed on site. It is vegetarian friendly and can be highly recommended.
Nous avions choisi le menu du jour, sans doute aurait-t-il été plus opportun de prendre la carte; c'était correct, sans plus. Le lundi soir n'est sans doute pas le meilleur moment, mais le restaurant gastronomique était fermé.
Ce n'est pas de la grande cuisine mais le cadre est sympa et la patronne ageeable. Content de trouver ce genre de "restau" dans un petit village. Book a table now
