I am very careful with bad reviews, and think twice before I write one. in this case I gave my self a couple of days to think it over. A table was cleared for us to sit. And then we waited , and waited ...!...No one came to us. The two waiters were going back and forth but never our way. So I started the catch his eye strategy! And I did catch his eye a few times but still no one came our way. A couple who arrived after us where already getting their drinks and that's when we thought okey , shall we leave?! But then at that moment a waiter comes our way, throws 3 menus on the table and leaves!!!!! So we left. We don't mind waiting but don't be rude.

When traveling through France we always end up eating very expensive but small meals. So it was a pleasure to find this place. If you are hankering after fish and chips, chicken and chips, pizza or something more refined this place can cater for it....The food was tasty and portions were a good size. Our desserts would have not been out of place in a posh restaurant we visited the previous night. If you are looking for straight forward food and don't mind the huddle and bustle of the locals who rear here then go for it. The service was friendly to and our request for gluten free was cater for without fuss. Pricing is good too.
Had walked down to the castle and the river, so just stopped for a beer or two at this pavement cafe set in the main square and near to our hotel. Lots of families eating early dinners, and others like us enjoying a beer or...two whilst watching the world go by. We were entertained by the laid-back but efficient approach adopted by the waiting staff, and also by the local character' who had obviously been drinking longer than we had and seemed to be arguing mostly with his glass of beer! An interesting way to spend an hour or so.
Ate here in the evening having eaten a meal at lunch we wanted a simpler evening meal and the choices here more than fitted the bill. I went for a Salade Perigourdine; which was very good and my husband had a 5 cheese pizza.. again of very nice quality with a very thin, crisp crust. We had a pichet of rose wine which was very nice, plus coffees and a profiterole dessert (massive, but proper crisp profiteroles none of your soggy M&S ones here and it cost 45 euro including 2 Ricard aperitifs too. Great ambiance and good service. Book a table now
we had the plate you jour that was laughing. it was very good and that dessert delicious. the staff was very good and we enjoyed our favorite hobby of people who watch during our lunch and a few drinks. the only part was the great. number of puppies everywhere. they had containers with a liquid to put on them, but they did not prevent them. When I was standing before my arrival, it made me a little scary. Maybe the puppy nests could be tracked and deleted.
we ate here on a Saturday market day. with the tables of the brasserie, which spread to the marketplace, there is a great atmosphere and every amount of activities all around. if they like French markets, they will love it here. we had a simple salad, one with goat cheese, the other one an salate nicoise. both well prepared and tasty, every meal in itself. efficient service, good value perfect.
In the centre of the main square A typical Brasserie menu which didn't disappoint We had the moules and the seafood cassoulet both were excellent Great beer and wine selection and wonderful waiters Finished off with Lavazia coffee all for under 20 errors each Great
we sat outside, which was very relaxing. the beer was cold and the wine was good. our food was nice. I had a burger with a bleu cheese sauce and my wife had a pizza the service was fast and friendly. reasonably expensive. Book a table now
We went two times for drinks and diner. An excellent place for seeing the world go by while having a beer (or two). Food was good, service also good, the owner helping serve the drinks and food.
right and easy, well located, but not fantastic. only a comfortable restaurant with large terrace
