"I ordered the duck breast and ordered it medium. I know the French like to undercook food but it was fairly raw and very chewy. Frites and sauce were nice and my girls sole dish was excellent she reported. Friendly professional staff. Expensive for what it was."

Not really what we expected and certainly not up to the standard of the other restaurants in the village. The food was of good quality, but the way it is served shows a lack of ambition from the team. Also the service could be a little less provincial and more professional. Not sure where all the excellent reviews come from. Not our experience.....On top of that, no Covid policy. No scanning of “pass sanitaire” and most of the staff did not even wear a face mask.

We have been to this restaurant many times both for drinks and also for food. This is not a gourmet experience, but great for families as well as couples. The food choices are relatively small but well executed and not bland. There is a kids menu as well as high chairs and flexible seating. Service is always good and pleasant even when they’re busy. Overall, a relaxed environment, decent food with consistent delivery.

We have been here many times before Covid. There are new owners now but the food and atmosphere is the same. Service is quick and polite. The food ranges from great Rotisserie’s to salads etc. Maybe in high season it’s best to book a table. Watching the local traffic is always fun negotiating the junctions outside the restaurant. Sometimes it feels like all of Europe is motoring through.

Decided to try this place as it seemed to be popular with locals which is usually a good sign. Delicious entrecôte with chips big steak cooked to perfection. The dish of the day, fish stew, was also tasty although some of the fish was overcooked. Overall a good experience and good value for money
