we were in the company of friends yesterday & decided to take them to Vieux Beloeill. We parked in Mont-St-Hilaire & walked across the jordi Bonet bridge & along to old Beloeil . It was such a lovely evening that we decided to stay & eat out. It was the thought of the different beers that drew the attention of the men & the view of the river us ladies! Brasseurs du Moulin has a very big terrasse ,( you need to go round to the back by the river) & we were seated promptly despite the fact that they were very busy. The service was very efficient, the beers were soon served. & declared very good. I actually had a White wine Sangria, which seemed to be more Sangria juice than wine....but it was ve...

I do not think that my family are the only picky eaters in the world. Restaurants need to be able to accomodate for people's likes and dislikes. We ordered pizza, salad, and nachos as our meal. The salad and the pizza were excellent, however, the nachos come as they are. If you request no leaks or olives you are informed that everything is prepared in advance and all of the ingrédients for the nachos are mixed together in the morning. That is great for convenience sake, but you should have some of the ingrédients preopared in separately as well to accomodate guest with alergies and/or dislikes. You need to be able to satisfy the Customer and if the Customer can't get what they like because y...

So I went to Beloeil anticipating a return to a restaurant we had visited previously. It was very cool and their deck was empty... but next door was filled with people and was lively.I went back to the street to get in and couldn't find an entrance. Walked around back and the entry was there, to the downstairs. Filled with lively banter and lots of good looking beer.I asked if they had service outside (for food). "No; order it here first. I sat sipping by brew, watching the scene (a few groups of folk enjoying life plenty). I was nicely surprised when the waitress brought out my food and what good food it was!Service, food, drink, location. All first rate.

Going on one of our favorite routes, along the Richelieu river we were going to stop at our regular "go to" place, however it was closed on this particular Sunday. We backtracked a bit and found this little gem.The food we ordered was great. My wife had the roasted veggies with a Cesar salad and I had the vegetarian pizza. Good stuff.Service was great but our waiter only spoke french which is not a problem for us.The decor is that of an old Quebec House with thick wood tables and all stone walls. We loved it.The terrace out back has a beautiful view of the River. Bonus! This may become our new "go to" spot.

Each time I go ther, even if it's a great place and the food is good, I can't stop but think that it's gonna go away within 4 to 5...The sad thing about this place is that it has potential but since 10 years, this place has been 5 to 7 different things ranging from a few restaurant to who knows. Rent must be the killer here... Plus the parking is a nightmare... Sorry but that's what it is...

Had the flight of craft beer, very nice array of flavors. Nacho appetizer was very good. The portuguese cod was excellent as was the burger. Limited wine selection but that was to be expected. The Italian Nari was fine. Ambience of the 200 year old building was great. Bathrooms very clean. Our server was well informed and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely return.

If you are looking for a micro brewery in the area you definitely can not go wrong. Great setting, nice ambiance and good finger food. I am not old by any means but I did not feel comfortable here...not to say that it isn't good far from it. But if you are in the area on a hot day going for an afternoon drive or walk and you want to try a artisan beer, the setting is perfect.

The terrace offers a view of the Richelieu River and the very well decorated indoor seating is located within the foundations of a 200 year old mill. The on-site microbrewery offers a good selection of beers and after a few of them I indulged on a Texan Hamburger that fit my appetite and at a reasonable price for the serving. Will definitely go back.

My wife and I went to Les Brasseurs du Moulin in September to celebrate my first day of retirement. Friends join us to celebrate on their beautiful terasse. As micro brewery they always ans excellent list of beer selection on tap combined with great food to match. Any time of the year, a great place to enjoy in the Old Beloeil!Cheers!Robert
