Boxing day we had reserved a lunch table for four and all was just perfect. The decorations spot on, the service quick and pleasant and the food delicious. We had a roasted duck with all the trimmings and another plate of roast venison with potatoes,...red cabbage and more. out of for providing a gorgeous lunch in a lovely Christmas afternoon atmosphere
After much complaining by fellow diners initially more interested in McDonald’s lunch at Braugasthaus Zum Alten Fritz was utterly devoured. The Brewers Plate had amazing sausage, chicken, beef, roast potatoes and sauerkraut and easily feeds two for The food was amazing and prices very...reasonable. Service was very good indeed. Highly recommended
I ordered a alcohol free Radler beer and I was unfortunately delivered one containing alcohol. When I asked the waiter to change it because I couldn't drink it he went inside to verify and just told me that it was not his fault, so he...wouldn't replace it. Bottom line I just wasted Euros and remained without anything to drink or an alternative
We visited the Hansesail in Rostock yesterday and had booked a table for already a few months before, because we know it gets very busy. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived, the service was quick, efficient and with a smile and...we have eaten once again wonderful food in a grea atmosphere. The Spagel soup was very very sweet, and had allmost nothing to do with asparagus. The pasta and flamkuchen was with almost no taste. Everything is like a concept where it is very efficient for the restaurant. I will never eat there again
Zum alten Fritz is a very traditional German Gaststätte restaurant serving schnitzel and other types of pork meat. The interior looks more like a bar than a restaurant, but it is fine. Prices are reasonable and service is good
This restaurant is big and has also a big outdoor bar. There was also live entertainment. My main course was good and the apfelstrudel delicious. Location is a bit off, but on the other hand close to the water which is nice
The various dishes were very delicious. The condition very friendly. Only the lady at the reception was a bit badly laughed. Can only recommend it and will definitely go back to dinner. Book a table now
Their fish dishes are very well done and the taste of the sauerkraut were just nice. Good ambience for the family and their staff were friendly to children as well. Highly recommended
