This gem of a restaurant is open from Wednesdays through Sundays and we were lucky enough to eat here twice before leaving Rohrmoos. The location is away from the road and views are breathtaking. We tried 4 different main courses as well as soup and desserts and each dish was beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. This restaurant is well worth a return visit. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. It is best to reserve a table especially if you want a table on the sunny side of the terrace. It was cool in the shade in late August.
We had dinner, and the food was great. If my grandmother had been Austrian, this is the kind of food she would have made. Very well prepared simple fare with high quality ingredients and copious amounts. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good meal with friends or family.
Despite lovely scenery food was not what we expected, especially with all positive reviews. Soup and main dishes were extremely salty, just like chef droped half of kilo of salt! We never ate so salty dishes in our life....
After a full day hiking beautiful surroundings, we got lucky to get a place in the sun for dinner. Food was delicious, service great. I recommend to reserve a table, in full season it's hard to find a place.
