After a very successful engagement party catered by Bread Salt, we had them cater our wedding in September 2023. Honestly, it was the best decision we ever made. Mohammed was absolutely and undoubtedly phenomenal in taking care of all our asks and expectations. We had several meetings with him to come up with the perfect menu for our event and he delivered on everything we asked and more! He was so kind to come visit our venue beforehand and provided excellent suggestions on how to best do our event. He was able to cater a mix of both Afghan and Indian food. Our guests simply cannot stop raving about how good the food was. It's been over 24 hours since our wedding and we're still hearing fro...

Next was the eggplant boorani, which featured tender eggplant smothered in an intensely flavorful tomato sauce, topped with a drizzle of yogurt. It was a bit oily, but that made it perfect for soaking up with the naan. Both the lamb tikka and chicken tandoori tikka were outstanding. The meat was perfectly tender and well-seasoned, served alongside fragrant rice, a fresh salad, and naan that was fluffy inside and crisp and chewy outside. The beef seekh skewer (minced beef) was probably the least impressive dish; it was a bit bland and slightly dry. However, the garlic sauce and tomato chutney were both delicious. My husband preferred the garlic sauce, while I liked the tomato chutney bett...

The lamb tikka and chicken tandoori tikka were both exceptional—tender pieces of well-seasoned meat served with fragrant rice, a fresh salad, and naan that was fluffy on the inside yet crispy and chewy on the outside! The beef seekh skewer, made from minced beef, was the least impressive dish; it was somewhat bland and a bit dry. Both the garlic sauce and tomato chutney were delicious and complemented the flavors of the meats perfectly. The restaurant's interior was nicely decorated with a modern feel; however, our water glass was dirty, and there was leftover food on the table when we were seated, so the server had to come back to clean it for us. Despite these minor issues, the food was i...

I recently dined at Salt and Bread Afghan Cuisine, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The food was not only delicious but also showcased the authentic flavors of Afghan cuisine. The warm and welcoming ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The service was incredible, earning this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating. I highly recommend Salt and Bread for a delightful culinary journey.

Ordered two chapli kebab wraps for takeout, it’s too shaggy due to lots of water in pickle/stuff inside and messed up the wraps. kids not liked it) *Might be good if I dined in)keep in mind for take out orders to minimize the watery portion inside. On positive note, shop interior is too good and staffs are friendly.Nice atmosphere for dine in.

After order online for pickup, I was lied to by the staff saying my meal would be ready in 3min. I waited about 25min and was given a soda for the wait but the food wasn't worth it. It was cold and flavorless. I won't ever be back here. It's not worth the time and money. McDonald's would have been a better option.

I ordered the aushak vegetarian dumplings and the chef's special. The Afghan food was incredibly delicious, and my husband and I really enjoyed it. Our server, Soha, was wonderful; she patiently explained the differences between the dishes we had questions about.
