Breadtop is the place to visit for a wide variety of Asian style sweet and savoury bread and (gateau and ice cream) cakes in interesting flavours such as taro, durian and green tea. It is best to visit earlier in the day as popular varieties sell fast. Some personal favourites include the seafood bun, chicken bun, pineapple bun, caterpillar roll, chocolate filled horn. Note that a typical Breadtop outletonly stocks a subset of the full range (as shown on their website) and this varies between stores. This review is for the Blacktown Westpoint outlet, however I've found the taste and quality of the items consistent across the stores.
The restaurant offers a delicious selection of cakes, pastries, and other sweet treats, although it can get quite busy. It is self-serve, but that is not a problem. The establishment is very clean and the service is very pleasant.
