Our first visit found by accident whilst passing through Belper! A pretty cafe cum bistro set within a lovely former mill building (worth a visit to the building itself for the fabulous period life with original lift with 2 sliding doors). Nice décor to the café with mill artifacts adorning the walls and tempting gifts to peruse. Stopped for lunch and treated ourselves to the Vegetable soup served with either bread or a homemade cheese scone. Fairly priced, our bill coming to £12 or so including drinks. Soup looked really nice but to be honest was lacking in flavour however the scone and bread were really nice. Service was good and it was a nice relaxing lunch. Would certainly re visit when...
