We had booked a table at Brewdog Lothian Rd after the Scotland v Italy rugby yesterday. We had had a fantastic time but were quite shocked at the attitude of the bar manager both when we arrived and after we paid the bill. This person was also rude to one of our party when we first arrived, until she was informed he was with us. One of the guys in our party had a few drinks too many celebrating Scotlands win and whilst we were more than aware of this and had ordered him a pint of water, she felt the need to announce to the entire table that he would not be served any alcohol. Came here twice in a week, once on 30 April (amazing service) and again on 6 May (terrible service). I've no idea why it's hit and miss but it is. 30 April, asked for my birthday beer and no issues whatsoever. Ordered food, and kept getting table service throughout our stay great afternoon. 6 May, one chap behind the bar and one lady wandering around the bar not wanting to serve people. Eventually gave up and ordered at the bar zero service zero tips. And no, it wasn't busy, there were only a few tables in. Came for wings Wednesday. We were told upon seating that we had an option of korean bbq and buffalo but advised the the new Korean one was not nice and it was not recommended also we could not mix and match which was strange. The wings came out and the batter was extremely excessive on each one, over cooked and at times batter on batter on batter, my wings looked like escalopes. I had 3 portions in total and each portion the wings were a worse quality with less and less sauce. Trying to get a waiters attention was a nightmare and when the bill came and several things were wrongly changed which caused me to miss my train as I was having to deal with it. We visited here to eat, drink and watch the football on Saturday night, after managing to get a table at the last minute. Our table was ready on arrival and had a great view of the tv as promised. We had the wings combo deal, which turned out to be great value at £18.95. The service was good, and provided by very nice and welcoming staff! All in all we had a great time, with a great atmosphere, and we were well looked after during our whole stay. Would definitely recommend.

Not such a fan of the atmosphere (a bit too 'drinking lad ' when we called on a Friday evening) but my God they served the best damn burgers we 've eaten in a long while. and are forgiven the lack of atmosphere and the stingy side order of fries, despite which we will be heading back. Friendly staff and it 's reasonably good value (although alcohol is more expensive than in the average watering hole on Lothian Road)
Great beers. We enjoyed an espresso and a sampler of beers. Enjoyable and tasty way of learning a few beers. Prices are good. We did not have any food. The menu looked extensive but it was not cheap. There was free wifi. Very nice.
Great food and service. Leah one of the managers was fantastic. The service she provided was superb some of the best customer service I have experienced. Couldn’t fault them atall. Will definitely be back!
Long list of tap, tasty beers, good food, great, friendly service. Unforgettable experience. I only regretted not to have visited the place from the first day of my trip to Edinburgh.

Outdoor seating, good beer, good friendly service, great vegan options. The Mrs loved the cocktails. Will return and would recommend.
