We have been going here every week for the last 6 months. The food and service has always been excellent however we visited Tuesday 17th of October and it was awful. We are 2 couplrs who ordered straight after each other and only one person serving so no one in between us. We finished pur meal before the other couples food came. Manager who was not one who we have seen before said that there was a big order in between us (which was not true). They eventually got their food about 15 minutes after we had finished ours. Good value and the food was reasonably good but the organisation was awful. I queued up for 15 minutes to order food and drink at the bar. We waited around 30 minutes for the food and I needed another (soft) drink. I had to queue up for another 10 minutes to get one but by this time the food had been delivered and was going cold. There was one lady who was working hard taking the food orders, taking the money and pouring the drinks. Since this took around 5 minutes for each customer this was a very slow process. We use this restaurant often, the staff are always great and prices are very good, with regular offers making them even better. Situated close to Barry Island next to a Premier Inn that we've also used. Our last visit made me think it's about time to make a review. The girl taking our order, Isabella, was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We had some special requests for our meals and they were delivered to our table spot-on.
We arrived early and were greeted with beautiful smiles from all of the front of house staff and management. We placed our food order at 12 o'clock and it arrived promptly, warm, and delicious. As our visit went on, the restaurant got busier. The budget-friendly food was great for everyone. The staff checked in on us frequently and were very attentive. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning!

We made a reservation and followed the sign's instructions to wait to be seated. Despite the busy atmosphere, we waited patiently at our table. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored by about four staff members who walked right past us without even acknowledging our presence. It was a truly disappointing experience and we will not be returning to this restaurant.
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I have visited this restaurant before when I was in Barry, and I will definitely be back again. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Brewers fayre has excellent food and great service at a very reasonable price. All the family enjoyed and everybody was catered for. Highly recommend. Staff were wonderful.
Ate lovely food, hot and tasty and there was a party of 8 and we all had it together. Great service and great staff. Will come again
