We had our volunteer Xmas celebration tonight at this lovely cosy pub The Xmas roast dinners were enjoyed by all . Great portions u defiantly wont leave hungry . Nothing was to much trouble great service great food great staff . the perfect local pub brought back to life from the warmest alan and emma. if they wish, as I have for the traditional British pub atmosphere, complete with congenial real living local, cozy frets, darts, pub quiz, the hands down the most amazing Sunday roast this side of the equator, then venture to “the bricks”. feels like getting a warm hug.

Popped into the Bricklayers Arms for a beer and wished I hadn’t. I was confronted with a rude bar staff member who had no please or thank you in her vocabulary. Left quickly and went down the road to the Swan. so much better Service: 1
