location and most employees pleasant. there is an older man who, when I went into the bar and got the menu, I said it was too busy to get food. another couple was served eating. possibly because they are local. we just wanted sandwiches. at least got a few drinks and then noticed that this very busy old man came out for a zigarette and then went back just to get less than 15 minutes later for another zigarette. I'm not sure, but if all the others are so busy and they have time to get out and cigs have every 15 minutes, maybe they have time for serving more even though we never got the chance to eat, I saw eating in the pub and it looked like good proportions and looked great. a person can br...
Had a fantastic experience and the bricklayers arms today, very welcoming and friendly staff not to mention the food was fantastic! Waiting time was very short for food and still managed to meet expectations.My mum who I had taken for her birthday was very impressed so thankyou very much for a lovely lunch we will definitely come again and highly recommend you to others
beautiful traditional pub, served homemade meals and a friendly atmosphere. the staff was friendly and the locals were welcome. there is a pleasant garden space and a reasonable parking space. it is ideal for a walk around thornton reservoir, and it has a private way for customers who connect to the reservoir. in any case worth a visit.
