We dropped in at what we hoped was a decent pub with live music. Well, the music wasn't bad, but the service and food were a total loss. There was 1 vegetarian meal on their otherwise extensive menu, so I ordered it, but the server said, nope, we're out of it. So I made do with the nachos. My partner ordered the Friday night special, the prime rib, with roast potatoes.FORTY MINUTES LATER my nachos arrived, cold. Five minutes after that, the prime rib arrived, with fries instead of roast potatoes. "We're out of roast potatoes." Right. This is the special for the evening, and it wasn't all that late when we ordered, but not only were they out of the roast potatoes (how can you be out of them?...

The palce was nice and charming. There was a live singer two-men band and those guys were pretty good and entertaining. The food on the other hand wasn't great. Two of us had the moose burger and that was SO dry it was hard...work to eat or even finish... the bun was pretty dry too. One guy had some kind of veggie burger which wasn't great either. And lastly, the fish and chips weren't really fresh... Now the beer! Well that dark horse beer wasn't great and beer selection was fairly poor. I saw they had other alcohol for drinks and such... but by the time I had sent back my dark horse, a mis of coors light and water, and I had received my guinness (which tasted tasteless, not a normal guines...

The real problem here was that the service was poor at best. The servers were clearly run off their feet. When I ask our waitress if the manager was aware of the problem, she said yes, and they choose to do nothing about it. When we arrived the place didn't seem busy, and we got menus quickly, but it took 10 minutes to order drinks and then it was another 15 minutes before someone showed up to take our order, at which point we were told the kitchen was busy and it would be about 30 minutes. 50 minutes later our meals showed up and they were cold, but very tasty. I wanted to leave without tipping, but you cannot blame a management problem on the staff who were clearly doing their best.

Bridie Molloy's offers the classic Irish pub experience. The staff is friendly and the service is fast and efficient. I was hoping for Cod Fish Cheeks (a St. John's Specialty), but had to cook for Cod Tongues very well and delicious. The house...salad was fresh, crisp and generous. You have a beautiful collection of tap and bottles of beer. The only negative was the small part of the code. Book a table now

We stopped in for drinks and found a larger place than it appeared from the outside. The server was on us right away and our orders arrived promtyy. There was a musian playing and the crowd was small, but growing as we left.
