Right between Pequods Burt's Place, this is a good place to knock a few beers or just eat here! It is an old school (founded in 1933) with a square bar surrounded by some high tables. Many regular and a big bartender fast to tell you about the history of the area. You have a fairly large menu of appetizers, sandwiches and of course PIZZA!! We started with some ice-cold budweisers and ordered some homemade pot stickers and a pizza. The pot stickers were excellently made by a local for the bar. The pizza was also very good with sausages fresh mushrooms, perfectly cooked! Great sauce with a little kick really made this pizza stand out. This used to be my favorite place for tavern pizza. I recently picked up a pizza, and the crust was noticeably different from what I remember. It was thicker and lacked the usual burnt edges. The cheese-to-sauce ratio was also off. While the ingredients and flavors of the toppings were still good, they didn't meet the standards I've come to expect from Bringer Inn. Perhaps they’ve changed their recipe or method for the crust? I’ll definitely give it another try in hopes of a return to its former glory, but this last pizza was a bit disappointing.
The first time I went there was in 1977 when I started my first job directly across the street after finishing grad school. If you're looking for a friendly neighborhood bar restaurant with surprisingly wonderfully satisfying food at great prices (especially a juicy burger cooked the way you like it medium rare please along with potatoes made six ways to heaven , the Bringer Inn is a gem of a find!! (Good Tip: Watch for the specials on their sidewalk sign!! I still love going there after 46 years!!
We came in on Labor Day in a rush to catch a train and we were met with such amazing service and kindness! We ordered a drink and waited for our food to go and the person working was the only person working. He was so caring and made sure we had our food and we’re closed out before we had to go catch our train. Also, the atmosphere was great! I wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy but will definitely be going back when I’m in Morton Grove again!

If you're in search of an authentic bar experience, this is the spot for you! It's a hidden gem, and you don't come across many places like it. The staff is fantastic, and the food is exceptional. I hesitate to leave this review because I don't want it to become too commercialized—let's just ignore that part. I'm even considering buying a townhome just across the street so I can make this my regular hangout. I hope my wife is on board with that!
