This restaurant is awful. We came for lunch with our family at noon on a Sunday and were greeted by a dirty dining area. The menus were dirty and uninspired, and the toilets were also filthy. The food was mediocre and expensive. A car rally arrived with 40 people lining up for drinks, making it difficult to order more drinks during our meal. Even though we were dining in the restaurant, we were told to join the back of the line. I would not return until there is a change in management. Avoid this place at all costs.

We have come here once a year for the past four years and always had a lovely meal. Today it could not of been more different. Very dirty/grubby on arrival. 6 adults with 4 of us having fish and chips fish soaked in fat inedible, rock hard peas flat coke! By the time we got back to our holiday home all those that had fish were feeling ill. sadly would not go back again.

Ended up here three times in a week. First was just to visit Dungeness, popped in for drinks and ended up with a couple of bowls of chips to keep grandchildren happy. Came back for lunch on two other days as could not decided what to have for lunch. On all occasions food was lovely, especially the fish that just fell apart, staff friendly and allowed dogs.

We found this place really friendly and welcoming with very good toilet facilities, the lady serving the coffees took extra trouble to get the strength just right to our liking
