Just finished my first pizza from BBOP. It will not be my last!For a busy Friday night, they kept me updated on a pick up time. I arrived and was welcomed by the crew. I said it was my first time there, and was promptly invited into the kitchen to check out the oven. Awesome turntable in the wood fired oven to assure even cooking. The owner (I assume) was very welcoming and clearly proud of what they had going on.The simple pizza we ordered was fantastic! The sauce was perfect, but the crust was fantabulous! I've made a bunch of pies but this one truly was near perfection.Highly recommend BBOPsWe will be back to try a specialty pizza soon.Thanks for doing what you do!
We were in town for a travel soccer game and were searching for a unique dining experience outside of chain restaurants. We are so glad we discovered this gem! The food and service completely exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to eat. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The owner really enhanced our experience, making it not only enjoyable but also entertaining! Our kids absolutely loved the interactions and magic tricks the owner performed, and they talked about it the entire two-hour trip home. I can't remember the last time we had such a wonderful dining experience!
Is a crazy chef's idea of a pizza joint. That said, the owner and chef is a crazy cool dude that makes up some really awesome brick-fired pizzas. I had one that was a homage to his Louisiana friend which was andouille sausage,and shrimp pizza. He had a special of spaghetti and meatballs that day. Didn't try it but looked awesome. Well worth the travel to Madison for this. Awesome little hole in the wall pizza place.Parking: He has a few places up front but more parking in the back
I just picked up a pizza to go, so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but it was our first time trying this restaurant, and we really enjoyed it! The staff was incredibly friendly both over the phone while I placed the order and when I picked it up. The pizza was the best we've had since coming back to Madison after almost 20 years! We'll definitely be returning for more! Book a table now
Went in for a quick lunch and this place was perfect. The food was great, the staff was great, the owners were great. Came in just before the lunch crowd, this place is very popular for all the right reasons. Highly recommend. My new 'go to ' when in Madison. Even go the distance just to eat here.
As for the food, our pizza was the best I've ever tasted. When it comes to service, I've never felt so well taken care of in a restaurant—it's absolutely top-notch! The next time we're in town, we will definitely be dining here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s very small and very popular. The staff does a lot of apologizing for their wait times but there’s absolutely no need. They are worth the wait. ?

This a small, homey place with phenomenal food and service. My group got 4 different personal pizzas. We all agreed each was the best pizza we've ever had!
