Something about the little bit of carmelization of the corn, which I assume has to be from giant can of corn from Restaurant Depot or other supplier . . . which just adds distinct level of added effort....and that became the hangover after-meal dessert you always wished was more for breakfast the next morning....until there was not more corn?! My husband and I moved to the area nearly a year ago but only just tried Britt's BBQ in October 2023. The restaurant is small and unassuming, located on the main strip of downtown El Segundo. It's very easy to get street parking nearby. We came in on a Thursday night around 5:30 6 pm. There is not a lot of seating inside the restaurant, and there were some people inside already eating. We ordered and paid first at the counter before being seated. The staff were friendly and prompt. We didn't wait very long before receiving our food. I had a craving for pulled pork, brisket, and ribs for lunch, along with a couple of sides, so I decided to try Britt's. I ordered the three-meat combo with two sides: the three meats along with coleslaw and beans. The meats were tender and well-cooked, but I wished they had a stronger smoky flavor. The barbecue sauce was fantastic and really enhanced the meal. The sides were also good, and they were quick to serve my order. Overall, there was plenty of food, but I’m still on the hunt for that authentic smoky barbecue. I enjoyed my meal, though. Parking was limited, but I managed to find a great spot close by.
Great food, excellent service and who doesn't love being street side in a beach city. This place is very busy and it's obvious why. They run out of gumbo by the weekend, but everything we ordered was delicious. Party of 5 and everyone ordered something different, pulled chicken, ribs, pork melt, brisket sandwich, corn bread, all great! Highly recommend. We will be back even though it's an hour and a half from us.

I've always had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I've been a regular customer for several years, visiting even more often during the pandemic. I truly love the quality, flavor, and portion sizes of the food. The mac and cheese, along with the baby back ribs smothered in spicy BBQ sauce, are must-haves for me. I definitely recommend stopping by before heading to one of the many local bars in the area.
it's been a couple years since I visited this spot but the quality was the same. Everything I've tried so far has been good. Especially love their sausage. BBQ is obviously great, even their chicken and side dishes were good.
Overall, I would say it was somewhat good. The food took a while to come out of the kitchen, especially since I only ordered one item. The brisket was a bit dry, but the portion size was larger than I expected.
The best BBQ I've found in Southern California! Try the baby back ribs (the St.Louis and spare ribs are delicious as well)... and all the sides are tasty!
