Had the fried chicken, so good! The red sauce was a tad spicy (and I can take the heat) so you may want to go with the white sauce if you aren't wanting that level of spiciness. The chicken itself was sooo good. Got the 2 piece and it was a lot of food. We also shared some mac and cheese, it was yummy! Bottles of wine are priced reasonably as well as glasses of wine. Service was very good, wait times were good. Ambience is pretty cool (if you don't like stuffed animals (taxidermy) this may not be the place for you).
Thank you, Broken Hill, for truly outstanding food and drinks. They accommodated us when we showed up early, too! The cocktails were delicious, the service was attentive, and the BBQ top quality. We would love to come back next time we’re in Nelson.
Service extremely fast. Cool vibe and artwork. Portions small ish (fine for us but others might come away still hungry). We both had burgers a little greasy but tasted quite good. We will return next time we visit Nelson.
Excellent selection of local beer/cider. Ribs were excellent with four sauce flavours on the side. Spicy fries were a hit. Mac cheese was delicious Book a table now
Enjoyed a casual bite. Fantastic burger of ground chuck with brie. Served rare amazing. Cauliflower bites were delicious too. A really cute spot.
Really great food and good service. Ambiance is attractive. We make a point to stop there for a meal whenever we visit Nelson
The only thing that I didn't care for was the lack of a dessert menu. Sorry but peanut butter pie just doesn't make it. YUK!
