We arrived in Rudesheim booked into our Hotel and headed for a late lunch down by the Rhine River, wandered along the front and saw the nice covered seating area outside this restaurant. Headed in out of the rain to a warm welcome and we were offered an English Menu. Good to be in the dry but still feel like we were outside. Restaurant quiet as it was mid afternoon, but a steady flow of customers for drinks.I had the omelette, which was good and the beer was really cold. A very pleasant location, good food and friendly staff.
Having not found anywhere with availability for dinner we stumbled across this place it looked OK from the outside and they had space. They do however allow smoking in the outer dining area and the rear dining area, where we sat, was a bit souless. The food we had was just OK, but certainly nothing to write home about, but the service was pleasant enough.
We stopped in this cafe for "cottage cheese" dessert and their famous original Rudesheimer Kaffee which was wonderful. The presentation was entertaining. We did not eat dinner at the visit. I left my purse in the restaurant and someone turned it into the police. It was returned to me with all valuables intact. Honest, caring people.
Popped in some Ruedesheimer coffee and spaetzle. Enjoyed both with a beautifully made tossed salad with a light dressing. The service, the view of the crowds on a sunny day, and the friendly waiter were great. The spaetzle with bacon and the vegetarian versions were both excellent. Reasonable prices too.

Four of us ate in your restaurant while stopped in Ruedesheim on our river cruise . We all had Jaeger Schnitzel with white asparagus. It was the best meal we had in the 4 weeks we were in Europe.We would rate your restaurant very highly for good quality food at a very reasonable price
The ice cream looked delicious and the service was excellent. The taste was not as good as it looked, but we managed to finish it anyway! Next time, I will try another spot.
We were there for Rüdesheimer Cafe, which was good. Nice place to sit and have a coffee. I can not say same for ice-cream. Nothing was special.
We enjoy to go there while we are at Rüdesheim, for lunch, dinner or just for a Rüdesheimer coffee. Always good service, fresh and tasty food,

We only popped in for drinks as the temperature was in the low 40's. The service was prompt and the drinks were lovely and cold. Worth a try
the food was more than average for price and the rudesheimer coffee and federwiesser wine was fantastic
