Overall, I am giving Broomhall Castle a generous two-star rating. We stayed for five nights and on the positive side, the hardworking and friendly staff were a highlight. Courtenay was especially enjoyable during breakfast. However, the castle is in desperate need of some tender loving care. Upon returning to our room after the first day, it had not been cleaned. The staff did make up for this by providing complimentary drinks during dinner. Unfortunately, the room servicing consisted of simply throwing the duvet back onto the bed without straightening the sheet. The coffee cups and glasses were never cleaned or replaced, towels were left untouched, and the arrival biscuits were only replace...
Our son and daughter-in-law's wedding took place at this venue. We had the entire castle from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunchtime. The location, service, friendliness of the staff, and the quality and quantity of the food provided were all excellent. It was a very special day for both families and the service we received made it even more special. We are incredibly grateful.
we loved it and cannot wait to go back when they are in the ghosts, then they have no fear to ask the barman about them, he had many layers to tell about them!
housekeeper very poor, next door toilet built in my room so that we know the joy when next door went on toilet, no other room.
