UPDATE: (16th June 2026) We recently returned to Brother Thai, and once again the food was exceptional and the ambience was lovely. However, our latest visit was unfortunately overshadowed by how this evening was handled. We booked a table for six people through the restaurant’s website for 8.20 pm. At no stage during the booking process was there any notice or disclaimer stating that children are not permitted after 9 pm. As returning customers who had previously dined with our children and stayed beyond 9 pm, we had no reason to expect any issue. Only after arriving and placing our order were we informed that we would need to finish quickly and leave by 9pm because we had children with us....
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about *Brother Thai* — it has quickly become my absolute obsession. From the moment you walk in, the staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and they go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible experience every single time. And the food… WOW. Every dish is bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and consistently exceptional. You can tell there’s real passion behind what they do — it’s fresh, authentic, and ridiculously moreish. I find myself thinking about it long after I’ve left (which is probably why I keep coming back… again and again! . Honestly, this place...
We went to Thailand on holiday because we love Thai food. Let me tell you, this place is better than the food we had at a 5-star resort. We ordered rice bowls, and both were superb with a wonderful depth of flavour. The satay was especially good. For dessert, we had coconut ice cream, which was also exceptional. Service was attentive and professional, and everyone was super friendly. If it wasn't four hours drive away, we'd be here quite often.
Brother Thai offers delicious food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere. I had a fantastic experience, enjoying a flavorful butter chicken with just the right amount of spice. Quite a nice place and the food is very good. Sadly everything did have too much coriander and the spice levels do not match the suggestions on the menu.
Gorgeous place, great menu, veggie, vegan meat options, gluten friendly, no alcohol options are lovely too, staff super nice great service
