In credit crunch times, this eatery hits the spot very well. The carvery meal is always well worth the money and the staff service very competent and cheerful. There are a few menu choices for those not looking for roast, veg and tatties, but we've never bothered. Once in a while, we nip to Brucefield, load up out plates with the veg (meat portions always generous) and feel fairly virtuous for eating well without spending a fortune!

So I went for the gammon and eggs the gammon was dry the chips where dry and the roasties where dry the ice cream machine was faulty and the toilets had graffti on the door and wall paper pealing all I say is the place could do with a spruce up
