A short but nice evening at the Brückenwirt restaurant. Arrived there the waiter immediatly helps us with the menus and the drinks. Three apfelsafts gespritz of big size. We then order two wiener shnitzels and a houseteller which is a small variation of the usual grilled one. The food is really good and portions are big... Too big, for which it is not possible to finish the houseteller.Full of food we ask for the bill and the price is ridiculously low. A great dinner. My compliments to the restaurant.Ps: The food came in no time.
Lokal wird sehr gut besucht, Essen war sehr gut, Preis/Leistung absolut ok. Sehr engagiertes Personal. Die Atmosphäre selbst aber gefiel mir nicht. Während wir warteten, konnten wir das Personal ein wenig beobachten. Das Personal arbeitet sehr schnell, sehr bemüht, sehr gut... wirkt echt gestresst während, ich vermute der Chef, eher sehr gebremst sich um Kunden gekümmert, reduziert war auch seine Freundlichkeit.
Ein sehr nettes gepflegtes Gasthaus, liegt direkt am Liesingbach, nettes Personal, gute Wiener Küche und sehr große Portionen. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl, man kann sehr nett im Gastgarten oder auch im Wintergarten sitzen. Die Gaststube ist auch sehr gemütlich. Die Kellner sind sehr umsichtig und flink, das Essen steht rasch am Tisch, man hat keine große Wartezeiten.
The Bruckenwirt (Inn by the bridge) is a very nice, countryside restaurant on the outskirts of Vienna. They serve Austrian dished, but "huge" portions. Of course, the hit of place is a big tray of spare ribs with almost 1kg of potatoes and different sauces... We made a detour specifically for this! It is welllll worth it!!
