It was at roughly 4.00pm on Friday afternoon (23rd June) and my husband and myself were looking for a snack in the Grand Place, Arras. We found the Brussels Cafe and thought it looked promising. Everything was fine. We ordered coffee which was served promptly - very good. My husband went to the toilet. Suddenly, the waitress in the green shirt came across to me as I waited and started hurling abuse, in what I think was Flemish. I stayed calm and told her in English that the coffee was fine! I didn't have a clue what she was saying. Undeterred, on my husband's return, we decided to ask for the rather nice looking croquet monsieur some other English people were eating on a nearby table. Enjoyed the view from the patio and the shaded space around us. Service was fairly quick and it didn't take the food long to appear. Asked for the burger to be well done but was still pretty pink, almost raw, in the middle. Didn't care for the sauce that came on the burger either, but that's more a matter of personal taste (others might like it).There are plenty of places to try in this part of town. For us, we chose it by chance. Not against going back, but would be interesting in sampling other restaurants in the area too.
What a sadness. We took a welsh, normally unratable! But there, a stale and burned bread, a slice of ham from the empty store, probably some not terrible fries, no salad next to it. not to mention the knacki sausage in the royal welsh. and dessert, out of the fridge directly. We got our cream burned in three minutes, without being heated. Besides, inside, the TV that's playing football games and bracing. We couldn't wait to leave! Never again
very good service but the dishes are really cooked with ingredients of poor quality (canned boxes, frozen products). pity, meals are simple and could be appreciable if the quality of the products was at the rendezvous. I haven't put my feet there for about ten years and I see that it hasn't changed, I really wonder how they are doing to keep it!PS: thank you for belly pain.

service not welcoming terrace lunches for a very light salad supplement in the plate and medium composition with simple ingredients lack of presentation and taste! fade salmon pasta where is the salmon except the cream in quantity!
lunch taken at noon by a group of 3 couples of friends. Really nice home. Quick service.Highly appreciated house trip. Chicken burgers also. mussels not bad but it is not the season. and very copyy mixed-grill plate.
excellent value for money. hot and very tasteful fried molds. excellent local beers. very nice reception with a bilingual boss. Very clean toilet. we will go back to enjoy other specialities.
Very good meal spent with family.Service with small care for us and special attention for the little one. excellent regional dishes: copied regional dishes for 16 euros.

a large (too large?) diversity of dishes. prices are correct. a regional menu with bulls, cantonade etc. the dishes are just correct but well served
