Both my wife and I ordered sweet tea. The tea had the right amount of sugar, but there was an overwhelming chlorine taste that was hard to ignore once we noticed it. Her brother also mentioned he couldn't drink the water due to its strange flavor.

We came here for “brunch” Disappointed is an understatement. It felt like i was eating free breakfast from a hotel’s leftovers. Everything was old, looked like food hasn’t been mixed in a while, cookies were stale, bacon was under cooked and full of fat. 15$ per person and not many options to eat I had to ask for them to refill the fried chicken because that was the only appetizing looking this to only find out it didn’t have any flavor! 0/10 I don’t recommend. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My salad contained spoiled ingredients, and the chicken salad sandwich was similarly affected. The fried foods, including fries and fish, were not properly cooked. While the staff was very friendly and even comped my salad, I noticed another table expressing dissatisfaction with undercooked burgers. The decor shows careful consideration, but the establishment's infrastructure is aging, and there were numerous fruit flies. I cannot recommend this place.
It took a very long time to get waited on, and once we did, it took a very long time just to receive our drinks. The food was good but not great. We really wanted more out of this place and looked forward to trying it out for some time....it was clear that they were understaffed in all areas of the business. I ordered takeout and paid an additional $2 for a side salad, but instead received lima beans. The crab and artichoke dip was quite runny and came with stale chips. The chicken salad and flounder sandwiches were just average. Overall, for takeout dinner, I spent about $20–30 per person. I would rate the food a 3 and the service a 5.
We went to Bubba's Bistro tonight and had a great experience. My husband had the fried chicken dinner. It was season perfectly, large pieces and cooked perfectly. I had the Suzanne and it was so good! Drake was our server and he was perfect! Great food and prices! Will definitely be back to try the other menu items!
